Color Scheme Tab

Features in the "Color Scheme" tab in Neovest's "Theme Wizard" box let you (1) edit the general color settings of a selected color scheme or (2) edit the colors relating to Neovest's QuoteWatch, Chart, Time and Quotes, and Options windows.

Note: For more information regarding Neovest's "Theme Wizard" box, refer to the “Theme Wizard Introduction” in the "Menu" chapter of Neovest’s Help documentation.

The following instructions explain how you may edit a color scheme:

Click the "Menu" icon on Neovest's Launch Pad.

Select View | Appearance/Themes from the menu that appears.

Once the "Themes" window appears, select a theme to edit its color scheme.

Note (1): You may click on each theme and preview its colors in the "Preview Screenshot" section before deciding which to edit.

Note (2): During the process of editing an existing color theme, if you wish to create a new color theme, click New Theme.

Once the "Theme Wizard" box appears, enter the name in the "Theme Name" field in the "General Settings" tab that you wish to give your new color theme.

OR

If you wish to edit an existing color theme without creating a new theme, you must first copy the existing theme by clicking Copy Theme once the theme is highlighted, then select the copied theme, and then click Edit Theme.

Next, select the “Color Scheme” tab in the "Theme Wizard" box.

Click Edit.

Once the "Create Color Scheme" box appears, click on the square to the right of the component whose color you wish to edit. For example, if you wish to edit the "Background" color of the selected color scheme, simply click on the square to the right of "Background."

Note: Once you click on a colored square to the right of a component, the "Choose a Color" box will appear. The "Choose a Color" box contains five tabs: "Swatches," "HSV," "HSL," "RGB," and "CMYK." The "Swatches" tab lets you select one of several color "swatches" to replace the existing component color of the selected color scheme. The "HSV," "HSL," "RGB," and "CMYK" tabs let you edit the color of the selected swatch. If at any time you do not like the color of the swatch you selected or you do not like the color changes you have made to the swatch itself, click Reset to return to the existing component color of the selected color scheme. Once you have selected a replacement color, click OK.

Once you make the color changes you wish to the selected color scheme, click OK.

Note: If you wish to delete the edited version of a color theme to which you've made changes, simply click on your edited version, and click Delete Theme.
