Account+ Window Toolbar

Near the top of Neovest's Account+ window is a horizontal row of features and icons that is referred to in Neovest as the Account+ window toolbar.

The search features in this toolbar are designed to let you search for particular orders in your account that include a specific symbol, user name, reference ID, or destination. This search feature may be very helpful if a particular Account+ window contains a long list of orders and you wish to locate certain orders that are comprised of specific criteria.

Additional features in the Account+ window toolbar are designed to let you access a Neovest feature or window with a single click.

The following table describes the function of each of the features and icons in Neovest's Account+ window toolbar but does not explain in detail the windows that may be accessed by clicking on certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "Account" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Feature:	Description:
Symbol/ Issuer	Lets you click to toggle between Symbol or Issuer. If you choose Symbol, then you may enter a symbol to search for and display only those orders that were sent on the entered symbol. If you choose Issuer, then you may enter a futures or options symbol and all of the contracts relating to the issuer will appear. Once you enter a symbol or issuer in this field, simply press Enter or click Search on the Account+ window toolbar.
Link/Unlink Window	Lets you link or unlink the "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field in an Account+ window to or from other Neovest windows that are open on your screen. For example, if the "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field is linked and if you double-click on a particular symbol displayed in an open Neovest QuoteWatch window, then the Account+ window will locate and display only those orders that were sent on the particular symbol. As you click on the "Link Window" icon, the image of the link will change to appear either intact or broken. If the link appears intact, then the particular Account+ window's "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field is linked to other Neovest windows that are open on your screen; if it appears broken, then it is not linked. Note: For information regarding linking an Account+ window to "All" open Neovest windows or to only certain windows that are on the same channel, refer to the proceeding "All" instructions in this table.
All	Lets you choose to link an Account+ window to "All" open Neovest windows or to only certain windows that are on the same channel. Neovest provides 20 different channels to which you may link windows. For instance, you may choose to link two open Neovest windows to channel "1," which will cause the two windows and any other windows that are linked to "All" to automatically load the same symbol. All other open Neovest windows that are not linked to "All" or to channel "1" will not load the same symbol. Note: For information regarding why you may wish to link and unlink an Account+ window to and from other Neovest windows that are open on your screen, refer to the preceding "Link/Unlink Window" instructions in this table.
User Name	Lets you enter a user name to be used as the search criteria. The user name will then be used to locate and display only those orders in an Account+ window that are associated with the entered user name. Once you enter a user name in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Account+ window toolbar.
Dest: (Destination)	Lets you enter a destination to be used as the search criteria. The destination will then be used to locate and display only those orders in the Account+ window that are associated with the entered destination. Once you enter a destination in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Account+ window toolbar.
Ref. ID: (Reference ID)	Lets you enter a reference ID to be used as the search criteria. The reference ID will then be used to locate and display only those orders in the Account+ window that are associated with the entered reference ID. Once you enter a reference ID in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Account+ window toolbar. Note: You may utilize reference IDs as identifiers to distinguish individual orders after they are sent from a Neovest Order Entry ticket window or from a Neovest Montage or Order Entry Montage window using Action Buttons that appear in a Neovest Account+ window.
Search	Lets you perform a search in an Account+ window using an entered symbol, user name, destination, or reference ID as the search criteria.
Clear	Lets you clear the "Sym," "User Name," "Dest," and "Ref. ID" search criteria fields in an Account+ window. Once you click Clear, the Account+ window will once again display all the orders to which you have access, not just the orders that were associated with your previously defined search criteria.
Refresh Account	Lets you refresh the data in a Neovest Account+ window.

Note: You may remove the toolbar in any Neovest window by pressing Alt+T. Once the toolbar has been removed, simply press Alt+T again to restore the toolbar.

Further features may be accessed by clicking the gear icon, located on the far-right of the toolbar.

The following table describes the function of each icon in the drop-down menu but does not explain in detail the features or windows associated with certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "Account+" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Feature:	Description:
Preferences	Accesses the "Account Preferences" box, which lets you (1) change your password that is required to access your Order Entry and Account+ windows, (2) set personal parameters and defaults, (3) change the font and colors, (4) add space for Action Buttons, and (5) change certain defaults that affect how you may close individual positions in the Open Positions tab of Neovest's Account+ window.
Sound	Accesses the "Sounds" box, which lets you select one of several different wave sound files for each order action (i.e., "Executed," "Canceled," "Cancel Sent," "Partial," etc.) in Neovest's Account+ window. For information regarding selecting wave sound files for order actions in Neovest's Account+ window, refer to the "Selecting Sounds" section in the "Account" chapter of Neovest's Help documentation.
Make Default	Lets you save an Account+ window that you have customized as the default Account+ window. Once you save a customized Account+ window as the default, then each time you click on the "Account" icon on Neovest's Launch Pad, your saved default Account+ window will appear.
Clear Default	Lets you reset the default Account+ window to the original default established by Neovest.
Lock Window	Lets you lock an Account+ window to remain open in a fixed position on your screen. Once you choose to lock a particular window using this feature, the window will remain
Symbol Lookup	Accesses the "Symbol Lookup Guide" box, which lets you search for and view information regarding a particular cash item, equity, future, future spread, or index. Further features in this box let you search by "Description," "Ticker Symbol," "Bloomberg Symbol," or various symbol identification sources such as "RIC," "SEDOL," "ISIN," or "CUSIP." Lastly, Neovest lets you narrow your search results by selecting from a wide array of international exchanges or by entering key words or phrases to limit Neovest's search findings.
Print	Accesses a window with several printing options that let you print the contents of the selected tab in a Neovest Account+ window.
