Basket Window Toolbar

Near the top of Neovest's Basket window is a horizontal row of icons that is referred to in Neovest as the Basket window toolbar.

Icons in the Basket window toolbar are designed to let you access a Neovest feature or window with a single click.

The following table describes the function of each icon in Neovest's Basket window toolbar but does not explain in detail the features or windows associated with certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "Basket" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Feature:	Description:
Current Basket Name	Displays the name of the active Neovest Basket window currently open on your screen.
Change Basket Name	Accesses the "Rename Basket" box, which lets you change the name of the active Neovest Basket window currently open on your screen.
Copy Current Basket	Duplicates the active Neovest Basket window currently open on your screen. You can toggle between the original and the copy by clicking on the tabs that appear at the bottom of the Basket window when you use this icon.
Manage Baskets	Accesses the "Basket Management" box, which lets you load, replace, and delete various Neovest Basket windows. Once you click on the "Save Basket" icon on a Basket window's toolbar, the Basket window will be saved (with its date and time as its name) in the "Basket Management" box. Once you access the "Basket Management" box, click on a previously saved Basket window to highlight it and then you may (1) click Add Selected to add the highlighted Basket window via a new tab to the active Basket window currently open on your screen, (2) click Replace Current to replace the active Basket window currently open on your screen with the highlighted Basket window, or (3) click Delete Basket to delete the highlighted Basket window.
Create a New Basket	Lets you add an additional Basket via a new tab to the active Basket window currently open on your screen. Once you add a new Basket to the active Basket window and multiple tabs appear at the bottom of the active Basket window, you may click on any tab to toggle between the various open Basket windows.
Refresh Window	Lets you refresh the position or order information in any section (i.e., the "Initial Portfolio," "Target Portfolio," or "Blotter" section) in a Neovest Basket window.
Remove Current Basket	Lets you delete the active Basket open in your Neovest Basket window.
Save Basket	Lets you save the active Neovest Basket window and its contents that is currently open on your screen.

Note: You may remove the toolbar in any Neovest window by pressing Alt+T. Once the toolbar has been removed, simply press Alt+T again to restore the toolbar.

Further features may be accessed by clicking the gear icon, located on the far-right of the toolbar.

The following table describes the function of each icon in the drop-down menu but does not explain in detail the features or windows associated with certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "Basket" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Feature:	Description:
Show/Hide Bottom Panel	Lets you hide or show the bottom panel in any section (i.e., the "Initial Portfolio," "Target Portfolio," or "Blotter" section) in a Neovest Basket window.
Show/Hide Top Panel	Lets you hide or show the top panel in any section (i.e., the "Initial Portfolio," "Target Portfolio," or "Blotter" section) in a Neovest Basket window.
Make Default	Lets you save a Basket window that you have customized as the default Basket window. Once you save a customized Basket window as the default, then each time you click on the "Basket" icon on Neovest's Launch Pad, your saved default Basket window will appear.
Clear Default	Lets you reset the default Basket window to the original default established by Neovest.
Lock Window	Lets you lock a Basket window to remain open in a fixed position on your screen. Once you choose to lock a particular window using this feature, the window will remain open even if you choose to open and close one or more of your layouts.
Symbol Lookup	Accesses the "Symbol Lookup Guide" box, which lets you search for and view information regarding a particular cash item, equity, future, future spread, or index. Further features in this box let you search by "Description," "Ticker Symbol," "Bloomberg Symbol," or various symbol identification sources such as "RIC," "SEDOL," "ISIN," or "CUSIP." Lastly, Neovest lets you narrow your search results by selecting from a wide array of international exchanges or by entering key words or phrases to limit Neovest's search findings.
