Indication of Interest Window Toolbar

Near the top of Neovest's Indication of Interest (IOI) window is a horizontal row of features and icons that is referred to in Neovest as the IOI window toolbar.

The search features in this toolbar are designed to let you search for particular IOIs that include a specific symbol, quantity, broker, and other criteria. This search feature may be very helpful if a particular IOI window contains a long list of IOIs and you wish to locate certain IOIs that are comprised of specific criteria. Additional features in the IOI window toolbar are designed to let you access a Neovest feature or window with a single click.

The following table describes the function for each of the features and icons in Neovest's IOI window toolbar but does not explain in detail the windows that may be accessed by clicking on certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "IOI" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Feature:	Description:
Sym (Symbol)	Lets you enter a symbol to be used as the search criteria in an IOI window. The symbol will then be used to locate and display only those IOIs that display the exact symbol you entered. Once you enter a symbol in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the IOI window toolbar.
Link/Unlink Window	Lets you link or unlink the "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field in an IOI window to or from other Neovest windows that are open on your screen. For example, if the "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field is linked and if you double-click on a particular symbol displayed in an open Neovest QuoteWatch window, then the IOI window will locate and display only those IOIs for the particular symbol. As you click on the "Link Window" icon, the image of the link will change to appear either intact or broken. If the link appears intact, then the particular IOI window's "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field is linked to other Neovest windows that are open on your screen; if it appears broken, then it is not linked. Note: For information regarding linking an IOI window to "All" open Neovest windows or to only certain windows that are on the same channel, refer to the proceeding "All" instructions in this table.
All	Lets you choose to link an IOI window to "All" open Neovest windows or to only certain windows that are on the same channel. Neovest provides 20 different channels to which you may link windows. For instance, you may choose to link two open Neovest windows to channel "1," which will cause the two windows and any other windows that are linked to "All" to automatically load the same symbol. All other open Neovest windows that are not linked to "All" or to channel "1" will not load the same symbol. Note: For information regarding why you may wish to link and unlink an IOI window to and from other Neovest windows that are open on your screen, refer to the preceding "Link/Unlink Window" instructions in this table.
Quantity	Lets you enter a quantity to be used as the search criteria in an IOI window. The quantity will then be used to locate and display only those IOIs that display the exact quantity you entered. Once you enter a quantity in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the IOI window toolbar.
Broker	Lets you enter a broker to be used as the search criteria in an IOI window. The broker will then be used to locate and display only those IOIs that display the exact broker you entered. Once you enter a broker in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the IOI window toolbar.
QWatch (QuoteWatch)	Lets you select a Neovest QuoteWatch window to be used as the search criteria in an IOI window. The QuoteWatch will then be used to locate and display only those IOIs that display a symbol that also appears in the QuoteWatch window you selected. Once you select a QuoteWatch in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the IOI window toolbar.
Search	Lets you perform a search in an IOI window using an entered symbol, quantity, broker, or selected Neovest QuoteWatch window as the search criteria.
Clear	Lets you clear the "Sym," "Quantity," "Broker," and "QWatch" search criteria fields in an IOI window. Once you click Clear, the IOI window will once again display all of the IOIs to which you have access, not just the IOIs that were associated with your previously defined search criteria.
Refresh IOI	Lets you refresh the data in a Neovest IOI window.

Note: You may remove the toolbar in any Neovest window by pressing Alt+T. Once the toolbar has been removed, simply press Alt+T again to restore the toolbar.

Further features may be accessed by clicking the gear icon, located on the far-right of the toolbar.

The following table describes the function of each icon in the drop-down menu but does not explain in detail the features or windows associated with certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "IOI" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Preferences	Accesses the "IOI Preferences" box, which lets you (1) choose to trade on particular IOIs, even if you are not authorized to receive market data on the IOIs' symbols through Neovest, (2) choose to receive and display IOIs either from "All Brokers" available to you or from "Selected Brokers" you have chosen from the list of available brokers in your account, (3) activate Neovest's "IOI Notify" pop-up box, which will appear each time you receive a new IOI during an individual trading day either from all of your available brokers or exclusively from those you have selected, (4) choose to display IOIs either from all exchanges available to you or from selected exchanges you have chosen from the list of available exchanges in your account, (5) choose the types of IOIs to appear, (6) change the colors of any displayed IOI, based on the group to which the IOI belongs, (7) add and remove IOI groups from your watch list, (8) activate Neovest's "IOI Notify" pop-up box, which will appear each time a new IOI is received for any group you have selected, and (9) change the font and colors in a particular IOI window.
Fields	Accesses the "Select IOI Fields" box, which lets you add and remove display fields to and from the body of an IOI window.
Make Default	Lets you save an IOI window that you have customized as the default IOI window. Once you save a customized IOI window as the default, then each time you click on the "IOI" icon on Neovest's Launch Pad, your saved default IOI window will appear.
Clear Default	Lets you reset the default IOI window to the original default established by Neovest.
Lock Window	Lets you lock an IOI window to remain open in a fixed position on your screen. Once you choose to lock a particular window using this feature, the window will remain open even if you choose to open and close one or more of your layouts.
Symbol Lookup	Accesses the "Symbol Lookup Guide" box, which lets you search for and view information regarding a particular cash item, equity, future, future spread, or index. Further features in this box let you search by "Description," "Ticker Symbol," "Bloomberg Symbol," or various symbol identification sources such as "RIC," "SEDOL," "ISIN," or "CUSIP." Lastly, Neovest lets you narrow your search results by selecting from a wide array of international exchanges or by entering key words or phrases to limit Neovest's search findings.
