Allocation & Bunching Window Toolbar

Near the top of Neovest's Allocation & Bunching window is a horizontal row of features and icons that is referred to in Neovest as the Allocation & Bunching window toolbar.

The icons in the Allocation & Bunching window toolbar are designed to let you access a Neovest feature or window with a single click.

The following table describes the function of each of the features and icons in Neovest's Allocation & Bunching window toolbar:

Feature:	Description:
Sym (Symbol)	Lets you enter a symbol to be used as the search criteria in an Allocation & Bunching window. The symbol will then be used to locate and display only those completed orders in an Allocation & Bunching window that were sent on the entered symbol. Once you enter a symbol in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Allocation & Bunching window toolbar.
Link/Unlink Window	Lets you link or unlink the "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field in an Allocation & Bunching window to or from other Neovest windows that are open on your screen. For example, if the "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field is linked and if you double-click on a particular symbol displayed in an open Neovest QuoteWatch window, then the Allocation & Bunching window will locate and display only those completed orders for the particular symbol. As you click on the "Link Window" icon, the image of the link will change to appear either intact or broken. If the link appears intact, then the particular Allocation & Bunching window's "Sym" (symbol) search criteria field is linked to other Neovest windows that are open on your screen; if it appears broken, then it is not linked. Note: For information regarding linking an Allocation & Bunching window to "All" open Neovest windows or to only certain windows that are on the same channel, refer to the following "All" instructions in this table.
All	Lets you choose to link an Allocation & Bunching window to "All" open Neovest windows or to only certain windows that are on the same channel. Neovest provides 20 different channels to which you may link windows. For instance, you may choose to link two open Neovest windows to channel "1," which will cause the two windows and any other windows that are linked to "All" to automatically load the same symbol. All other open Neovest windows that are not linked to "All" or to channel "1" will not load the same symbol. Note: For information regarding why you may wish to link and unlink an Allocation & Bunching window to and from other Neovest windows that are open on your screen, refer to the preceding "Link/Unlink Window" instructions in this table.
User Name	Lets you enter a user name to be used as the search criteria. The user name will then be used to locate and display only those completed orders in an Allocation & Bunching window that are associated with the entered user name. Once you enter a user name in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Allocation & Bunching window toolbar.
Dest: (Destination)	Lets you enter a destination to be used as the search criteria. The destination will then be used to locate and display only those orders in the Allocation & Bunching window that are associated with the entered destination. Once you enter a destination in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Allocation & Bunching window toolbar.
Ref. ID: (Reference ID)	Lets you enter a reference ID to be used as the search criteria. The reference ID will then be used to locate and display only those orders in the Allocation & Bunching window that are associated with the entered reference ID. Once you enter a reference ID in this field, simply press Enter, or click Search on the Allocation & Bunching window toolbar. Note: You may utilize reference IDs as identifiers to distinguish individual orders after they are sent from a Neovest Order Entry ticket window or from a Neovest Montage or Order Entry Montage window using Action Buttons that appear in a Neovest Allocation & Bunching window.
Search	Lets you perform a search in an Allocation & Bunching window using an entered symbol, user name, destination, or reference ID as the search criteria.
Clear	Lets you clear the "Sym," "User Name," "Dest," and "Ref. ID" search criteria fields in an Allocation & Bunching window. Once you click Clear, the Allocation & Bunching window will display all of the completed orders to which you have access.
Edit Allocation Account	Accesses the "Edit Allocation Accounts" window, which lets you set up individual allocation accounts and specify default cents-per-share, flat-fee, and other miscellaneous commissions for each allocation account. For complete information regarding how you may set up allocation accounts, refer to the "Editing Allocation Accounts" section in the "A&B" chapter of Neovest's Help documentation.
Refresh Allocation & Bunching	Lets you refresh the data in an Allocation & Bunching window.

Note: You may remove the toolbar in any Neovest window by pressing Alt+T. Once the toolbar has been removed, simply press Alt+T again to restore the toolbar.

Further features may be accessed by clicking the gear icon, located on the far-right of the toolbar.

The following table describes the function of each icon in the drop-down menu but does not explain in detail the features or windows associated with certain icons. As questions arise concerning any of the features or windows discussed in the following table, refer to the "Allocation & Bunching" chapter in Neovest's Help documentation for further assistance.

Feature:	Description:
Preferences	Accesses the "Allocation Preferences" box, which lets you change the font in an Allocation & Bunching window and add default order descriptions that you may then use as identifiers to distinguish individual order allocations in Neovest's Allocation & Bunching window.
Make Default	Lets you save an Allocation & Bunching window that you have customized as the default Allocation & Bunching window. Once you save a customized Allocation & Bunching window as the default, then each time you click on the "A&B" icon on Neovest's Launch Pad, your saved default Allocation & Bunching window will appear.
Clear Default	Lets you reset the default Allocation & Bunching window to the original default established by Neovest.
Lock Window	Lets you lock an Allocation & Bunching window to remain open in a fixed position on your screen. Once you choose to lock a particular window using this feature, the window will remain open even if you choose to open and close one or more of your layouts.
Symbol Lookup	Accesses the "Symbol Lookup Guide" box, which lets you search for and view information regarding a particular cash item, equity, future, future spread, or index. Further features in this box let you search by "Description," "Ticker Symbol," "Bloomberg Symbol," or various symbol identification sources such as "RIC," "SEDOL," "ISIN," or "CUSIP." Lastly, Neovest lets you narrow your search results by selecting from a wide array of international exchanges or by entering key words or phrases to limit Neovest's search findings.
Print	Accesses a window with several printing options that let you print the contents in an Allocation & Bunching window.
