Ticker Tape

Ticker Tape Window Introduction

Neovest's Ticker Tape window is comprised of several innovative features that let you continually cycle through any number of symbols and view virtually any type of symbol data. Neovest lets you add more than one ticker tape to a Ticker Tape window and lets you configure each ticker tape differently.

For example, you may set up a Neovest Ticker Tape window to continually cycle through the same 12 symbols and display three different ticker tapes on the 12 symbols. The first ticker tape may be set up to display the last price, net price, and company name of each symbol; the second ticker tape may be set up to notify you each time one of the 12 symbols hits a new high for the day; and the third ticker tape may be set up to display current news stories on any of the 12 symbols.

Display fields that you may select for a Neovest Ticker Tape window include several real-time variations of price, net, trend, bid, ask, fundamental, and volume symbol data. You may also choose in a Ticker Tape window to be notified when one or more symbols of your choosing hit a new high, a new low, or trade above a certain block size.

In addition, Neovest lets you control the direction and speed of the cycling action and lets you stop the cycling action at any time with a single click in a Ticker Tape window.

Neovest's Help menu documentation provides complete instructions on how you may open a Neovest Ticker Tape window, enter symbols, add multiple ticker tapes, select the type of symbol data you wish to see, and change the colors and font in a Ticker Tape window. Instructions are also provided that explain how you may save a customized Ticker Tape window as the default and save an open Ticker Tape window in a Neovest layout.
