Ticker Tape Window Display Fields
Neovest provides several headings (e.g., "Last," "Net," "Trend," "Bid," etc.) that you may add to the active ticker tape in Neovest's Ticker Tape window. These headings are referred to in Neovest as "display fields."
Note: Instructions in this section refer repeatedly to the "active ticker tape" in Neovest's Ticker Tape window. If you have added more than one ticker tape to a Ticker Tape window, you may make one of the ticker tapes active by moving your cursor to the upper-left corner of the ticker tape and clicking on the down arrow that appears.
Neovest's user-friendly interface lets you easily (1) add and remove display fields to and from the active ticker tape and (2) rearrange the order of the display fields in the active ticker tape in Neovest's Ticker Tape window.
Display fields that you may select for the active ticker tape in Neovest's Ticker Tape window include several real-time variations of price, net, trend, bid, ask, fundamental, and volume symbol data. These display fields are located in Neovest's "Ticker Field Settings" box and are separated into three tabs or categories (i.e., "Default," "Filter," and "Custom") based on the function that each display field performs.
Note: Once you access Neovest's "Ticker Field Settings" box, you may notice a fourth tab titled "Customer." The "Customer" tab lets certain Neovest customers create custom data fields on a symbol-by-symbol basis using external applications that may then be displayed in various Neovest windows.
Neovest provides descriptions of all its display fields. To access the descriptions of the display fields that Neovest provides, refer to the "Display Fields" chapter of Neovest's Help documentation.
The "Display Fields" sections in the menu to the left discuss the three tabs or categories (i.e., "Default," "Filter," and "Custom") into which Neovest's display fields are separated and how you may select display fields from these tabs to add into the active ticker tape in Neovest's Ticker Tape window.
Instructions are also provided that explain how you may remove display fields and manipulate the order of the display fields in the active ticker tape in Neovest's Ticker Tape window.
