Entering a Symbol in a Time and Quotes Window

Once you enter a symbol in a Time and Quotes window, Neovest will immediately display real-time trade, bid, ask, and exchange information in separate columns for the entered symbol. Neovest will also highlight each trade that occurs on each entered symbol's primary exchange.

In addition, Neovest will display symbol information in a QuickQuote section at the top of the Time and Quotes window, which will allow you to view several fields that are unique to time-sensitive data. These fields include interval "VWAP," "Average Spread" of the period, "Tick Count," and "High" of the period, among others.

The following instructions explain how you may open a Neovest Time and Quotes window and enter a symbol:

Click on the "Time & Quotes" icon on Neovest's Launch Pad.

Once the Time and Quotes window appears, type the symbol you wish in the "Sym" box, and press the Enter key.

Note: Neovest highlights each trade that occurs on an individual symbol's primary exchange.

To load a new symbol in the Time and Quotes window, simply type the new symbol in the "Sym" box, and press the Enter key.
